Training Sessions in 2025

Due to popular demand, OSA will be providing six face to face sessions in 2025.  This will include the Demystifying Disposal training and Information Management Foundations training across the State.  There is also the option of attending remotely.

Please contact Anna Gates enquiries@osa.tas.gov.au if you have any queries regarding online training or to organise a training session for your team.

The Information Management Foundations training is available via Event Brite, Demystifying Disposals should be available to book by July 2025.

Intro to OSA Sessions

This year OSA will also be providing a short (1 hour) session either via Teams or face-to-face.  This session will introduce the OSA team, our function under the State Archives Act, and what support and resources we can provide.

This will be valuable for those staff who are new to the records space, such as executive officers, administrative officers and senior management who find themselves responsible for information management within their organisation.

It may also be helpful for experienced records managers who have recently moved to local council or government and may be unfamiliar with their obligations and unsure where to find support.

Please note these sessions will not provide training in information management – if you would like more detailed information please register your interest for the Information Management Foundations course.

We anticipate that these informal sessions will be in high demand, so please contact enquiries@osa.tas.gov.au if you are interested in registering your organisation.
